Writing
To write with AI, first write it yourself and then enhance it with AI and gathered information. That way, you retain your voice and authorship.
Nature
AI is a tool, not a "junior employee". It makes you faster and reduces mental strain, and should be seen as an intellectual lever.
Usage Guidelines
Never assume the AI knows why you are asking a question. You must explicitly define the environment:
- Who is the target audience?
- Why are we doing this?
- How should this task be done?
- What is the ultimate purpose?
Knowledge
Knowledge is too vast for AI to hold it all, so it may hallucinate when we rely on it to retrieve knowledge. AI is great as a processor of the knowledge we supply it. So: supply it with the knowledge you want it to use.
Use Examples
Telling the AI what to do is good; showing it is better. Providing examples of the expected result is the single most efficient way to calibrate the AI's style and format.
Common Sense
AI lacks common sense because it doesn’t have the crucial dimension of lived human experience. That is one of the reasons why you must always check the output.
