1. Our Core Privacy Principle: You Own Your Data

We operate on a fundamental principle: your data is yours. The documents, prompts, and proprietary information you provide to Jon AI belong to you. We do not claim any ownership over the content you generate or the data you provide. Our role is to provide a tool to help you create better documents, faster.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide our Services, we use the information you provide in a limited, transactional manner:

For Document Generation: When you enter a prompt or upload a document for style guidance, we send this information to an AI system to generate the requested document. This is the sole purpose of our use of your content.
Account Management: We use your registration information (like your email address) to manage your account, provide customer support, and handle billing.

3. Our Stance on AI Model Training: Paid vs. Free Services

We offer both paid and free tiers of our Service. Our data handling policies differ based on your subscription level to provide transparency and choice.

For Paid Service Users:
Your privacy is our priority. Jon AI does not train its AI models on your prompts, your uploaded documents, or the documents you generate. We contractually require our third-party AI providers to adhere to this same strict, no-training standard for our paid users. Your data is used only to fulfill your request and is not retained for any other purpose by our AI Sub-processors.
For Free Service Users:
To support and improve our Services, we may use the content you provide and generate while using our free tier ("Free Services") to further develop and train our AI models and those of our partners. By using our Free Services, you grant Jon AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and create derivative works from your content for the purpose of service improvement and model training. If you require a strict no-training policy for your data, you must upgrade to a paid plan.

4. Third-Party AI Service Providers

To deliver our high-quality document generation services, Jon AI utilizes sophisticated large language models (LLMs) and cloud infrastructure from leading third-party technology partners ("AI Sub-processors"). At our sole discretion, we may change or use multiple AI Sub-processors to ensure the best possible quality and performance for our users.

We select these partners based on their technical capabilities and their stated commitments to data privacy, specifically their policies of not training their AI models on customer-submitted data. However, Jon AI does not own or operate the core infrastructure of these AI Sub-processors. While we rely on their contractual and public representations regarding their data handling practices, we cannot independently audit or warrant their absolute compliance.

Therefore, you acknowledge that our Services are dependent on these AI Sub-processors. Jon Artificial Intelligence shall not be held liable for any breach, misuse of data, or other wrongful act or omission by any of our AI Sub-processors, particularly in instances where such a breach results from a material misrepresentation of their services or a violation of their own stated privacy policies or contractual obligations to us.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, and disclosure. This includes data encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Services provided by Jon AI are on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. Jon Artificial Intelligence, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, resulting from (i) your use of the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
